Volunteer for the Slalom World Cup

Volunteer for the Slalom World Cup

Being a volunteer at a major event like the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup is an unforgettable experience. Whether you are an experienced slalom volunteer or this is your first event volunteering, we need your support and have a role for your skill set.

We have roles on the field of play, in media, sports presentation, ticketing services, spectator services, water safety, and supporting our legacy programme to name a few. Click here to download the full list of available roles.

If you want to rub shoulders with the world’s best slalom athletes, just love events, or are seeking work experience at an international sporting event sign up to be part of the Canoe Crew.

Athlete training operates Monday 10th to Thursday 13th June with the competition taking place Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2019. Most volunteer positions will be needed for the dates of the competition, though we will need some hands on deck throughout the set up and training periods.

Volunteers will be provided with accreditation, uniform and meals on venue. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide travel expenses or accommodation but will negotiate preferential rates at the local campsite.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the biggest canoeing event in the UK since the 2015 World Championships. Please complete the form below.

The deadline for volunteer applications is: Friday 14th September 2018.

The application is only four sections. But if you need to leave and return to the form at a later date simply click on Save and Resume Later at the base of the form.

Please note, you need to be 18 years or over on 1 June 2019 to apply at present. We will have roles for under 18s and are looking to recruit these through clubs and uniformed groups – if you are interested please contact us.
